Please note that while we work to improve your Zoo, some pathways may temporarily shift, some areas may be closed, and some animals may be moved to new habitats. The Next Chapter

A major renovation and expansion of Philadelphia Zoo’s Bear Country exhibit is coming, sparked by lead charitable support from the W. P. Carey Foundation! The new, state-of-the-art home for the Zoo’s beloved bear species is scheduled to open in 2026.

Wildlife Rescue Climbable Sculptures

Learn about some of the world's most inspiring conservation success stories one climb at a time! Wildlife Rescue comes to the Zoo with larger-than-life climbable sculptures of endangered species, from the majestic bald eagle to the astonishing orangutan and more. The exhibition includes 13 sculptures and is free with Zoo admission!
