Philadelphia Zoo and 92.5 XTU host XTU at Philadelphia Zoo, a summer concert featuring Atlantic recording artist Brett Eldredge

PHILADELPHIA, PA (June 25, 2014) – Philadelphia Zoo today announced that it will host XTU at Philadelphia Zoo, a live experience produced in partnership with Philadelphia’s country station, 92.5 XTU.  This outdoor summer concert features Atlantic recording artist, Brett Eldredge, who will be playing at America’s first zoo on Monday, August 18th at 7:00 p.m.

An Illinois native with a soulful, distinctive baritone, Brett Eldredge’s current single “Beat Of The Music” recently hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and on Mediabase/Country Aircheck, becoming the second consecutive single from his debut album to reach the top. Selling over 1.7 million digital tracks and racking up more than 15 million YouTube views, noted vocalist Brett Eldredge is getting ready to join Keith Urban’s “Raise ‘Em Up” Summer Tour next month in support of his debut album Bring You Back and was recently named one of People Country’s ‘Sexiest Men’.

Proceeds from XTU at Philadelphia Zoo will benefit the Zoo’s overall mission of inspiring action for animals and habitats around the world.

Pre-sale tickets will go on sale on Thursday, June 26th  for Zoo members and XTU VIPs, and all tickets will be on sale starting Friday, June 27th. Tickets are general admission festival-style seating (blankets are discouraged) at the Zoo’s Impala Lawn and are $45 for Zoo members at $55 for non-members. Limited reserved seating with tables will be available with the purchase of a VIP ticket for $85. All tickets are non-refundable and include Zoo admission the day of the event as well as extended access to animal buildings from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The event is rain or shine.
