Philadelphia Zoo to Host 4th Annual PRIDE Day

PHILADELPHIA, PA-- (September 25, 2013) — Philadelphia Zoo welcomes LGBTs and allies for the 4th annual PRIDE Day at the Zoo. The Zoo, along with partnering organizations including the William Way LGBT Community Center, will host a fun-filled day of activities and programs to entertain and educate community members and supporters of all ages on Saturday, October 12th.
This year’s PRIDE Day will feature a family-friendly daytime event from noon to 4 p.m. The PRIDE Day Friends & Family Outing will include crafts and activities, Zoo on Wheels demonstrations, a vendor expo and a pride-themed scavenger hunt.
