Rachel Luber, Co-Chair

rachelRachel Luber Cevera is Co-founder and President of Philadelphia based creative agency, halfGenius, where she works closely with a range of reputable brands and causes on their creative and experiential marketing initiatives. Rachel’s leadership abilities have been described by her clients as, “the perfect combination of experience, skill, and intuition.” A decisive & goal-oriented entrepreneur, Rachel’s career stemmed from her ambition to hone a space for innovation and creativity, combined with her passion for collaborating with visionaries to execute their brand’s story. Rachel’s specialty lies in unveiling a brand's needs to provide winning interactive marketing strategies with a focus on authentic storytelling.

Beyond leading the hG creative team with her husband and business partner, Jason Cevera, Rachel is highly involved in the wider Philadelphia philanthropic community serving as co-chair of the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program’s Advisory Council, founding Contemporary + Circles Member at the Barnes Foundation, Board member for Donors Are Heroes, Young Friend of The Academy of Music, and most recently appointed as a member of the Board of Directors at the Philadelphia Zoo. Rachel resides with her husband, Jason and dog, Hank in South Philadelphia.

Eric Kaplan, Co-Chair

Eric KaplanEric Kaplan is an innovative and focused leader with a proven track record in both non-profit and for-profit industries. A strategic and analytical professional, Eric has an exceptional ability to communicate at all levels. Research and data driven with high attention to detail and professionalism – Eric’s core competencies are his ability to inspire creativity, action, and results.

With over 20 years of management and consulting in the food and hospitality industry, Eric has transitioned into a career in business development; joining the Philadelphia Zoo in 2015 as their Corporate Grants Manager and currently as the Business Development Manager for NextFab.

A native Philadelphian and graduate from Temple University’s Fox School of Business, Eric’s passion is helping others achieve success in both their personal and professional lives.
