AFZ Camera Club

Our Camera Club is for adult Zoo members with an interest in photography; members range from amateurs to professionals. The club meets monthly to share their photos and develop their techniques. Additionally, there are regularly scheduled photo shoots in the Zoo that often include behind-the-scenes access that you would not have otherwise. Members are encouraged to donate their best photos to the Zoo for us to use in our marketing materials including print materials, signage and social media.
Meetings are held from 7-9pm on alternating first Mondays and Wednesdays of the month from September through June, and the photo shoots are typically held on the weekends throughout the year. Club members must attend at least 4 meetings per year, maintain a Zoo Membership and pay annual dues. Currently, dues are $30 for the first year and $20 each year there after.
The AFZ Camera Club is not currently accepting applications. We will begin accepting applications on September 1.
Please be aware that all zoo volunteers, once accepted into the program, must submit a cleared Pennsylvania State Criminal Check and Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance completed within the last year. Volunteers whose permanent residence is outside Pennsylvania will also need to complete an FBI clearance including fingerprinting.
