Post-Doctoral Researcher – Animal Behavior and Well-Being
Philadelphia Zoo is seeking a post-doctoral fellow who will be responsible for developing and conducting research on animal behavior and well-being impact of the Zoo’s expanding trail system.
Coordinator of Audience Research
The Philadelphia Zoo is seeking a candidate to manage an audience database, and to coordinate and support projects in audience engagement and program evaluation. This position is an integral piece of ensuring that the Philadelphia Zoo meets its mission to inspire visitors to take action for animals and habitats.
Curator of Primates and Small Mammals
The Philadelphia Zoo seeks an experienced and enthusiastic individual for the position of Curator of Primates and Small Mammals. The curator directly oversees a staff of thirteen keepers. The collection includes over twenty species of primates and over twenty species of small mammals. Primary responsibilities include oversight of husbandry and exhibition, collection planning, staff scheduling, personnel management, facility management, and review, development and implementation of safety and operational policies.
Reporting to the Financial Analyst, the Auditor is responsible for performing audit procedures including the reviewing/documenting/testing internal controls and performing substantive testing, generating billing invoices, monitoring accounts receivable, ensuring collections on account, and various account analyses.
Curator of Carnivores and Ungulates
The Philadelphia Zoo seeks an experienced and enthusiastic individual for the position of Curator of Carnivores and Ungulates. The curator directly oversees a staff of thirteen keepers. The collection includes over twenty species of carnivores and a growing ungulate collection. Primary responsibilities include oversight of husbandry and exhibition, collection planning, staff scheduling, personnel management, facility management, and review, development and implementation of safety and operational policies.
HR Manager, Total Rewards
The HR Manager, Total Rewards will work closely with the Dir., HR to design, develop and execute a comprehensive total rewards strategy for the organization that aligns employee rewards with the achievement of results that advances the Philadelphia Zoo’s strategic plan, commitments and goals while enhancing the Zoo’s ability to attract high performing employees and maximizing productivity, engagement and retention.
HR Generalist, Talent Acquisition and Retention
Under general supervision, the HR Generalist position has a particular focus on talent acquisition and retention. This position is responsible for designing and implementing strategies and best practices to attract and retain a high performing diverse volunteer and paid workforce. The HR Generalist is responsible for all aspects of the recruitment, onboarding and retention programs for all staff and volunteer positions.
