Additional Inquiries

How do I make a reservation?

Members can have one visit reserved at a time for up to the number of adults, children and guests covered by their membership. Members can make another reservation after the original reservation has passed so that we can welcome back as many members as possible when we reopen.

Availability for reservations is limited. Thank you for your understanding as we work to safely monitor guest capacity. Check back often as additional inventory will be released daily.

Why can’t I make more than one reservation?

- Members can have one visit reserved at a time and can make another reservation after the original reservation has passed.

- Availability for reservations is limited. Thank you for your understanding as we work to safely monitor guest capacity. We will add more reservation availability frequently, so please check back often.

- All general members are eligible for an extension to compensate for the number of days lost on their membership during our 111-day closure.

- If you have additional questions as a member, please visit our member FAQ page to learn more.

I lost time on my membership due to the closure.

- If your membership was valid during any period of our closure, you will receive an extension up to the number of days lost on your membership.

- If you renewed a membership during the closure, we will add the extension days you are eligible for to your new 2021 expiration date. For example: If your original expiration was March 31, 2020, you lost 14 days and your new expiration is July 20, 2020. If your original expiration was July 31, 2020, you lost 111 days and your new expiration is November 19, 2020.

- For members who would prefer to donate their membership extension, thank you! Please email us at membership@phillyzoo.org with your member ID to let us know.

- If you do not wish to donate your membership time back to the Zoo, no further action is needed. Thank you!

I didn’t get my membership card.

If you purchased or renewed a membership since our closure in March, we will mail it to you soon. Thanks for your patience while our Member Services office was closed.

What about my guest tickets?

If you received one-time-use guest tickets with your membership, they will be automatically extended 111 days, and you will be able to exchange them for reserved timed tickets. Look for more information then on the Reserve Tickets page. We’re sorry, but discounted guest tickets are not available at this time.

What if I miss my visit?

Tickets are non-refundable, but you may make changes to your scheduled visit date and time (availability permitting) until 11:59 p.m. the night before your scheduled visit. Because capacity is limited and General Admission tickets are selling out daily, we are unable to make changes on the day of your visit.
